We are officially the longest running and most successful truly indie film festivals in Philadelphia, and we look to do the same in Hollywood!!
With 20 festivals previously produced and a star studded lineup of past winners and Official Selections, FirstGlance is one of the Premiere Indie Fests in the World!!

FirstGlance 9 Hollywood is calling for submissions from professional, first time, and student directors, filmmakers and producers with any budget for North America’s fastest growing truly indie film festival. Our mission is to spotlight and celebrate truly indie up and coming, national and international talent in all genres of film. From mainstream to controversial in a competitive casual atmosphere, that brings together emerging film and video makers, film enthusiasts, critics, distributors, and audiences.
Our 9th festival will highlight the best work in more categories than ever from animated shorts to Feature docs and we will begin honoring webisodic series this year. We are opening our festivals to more talent than ever before and now offer an online companion short film contest too!! 
Scheduled for April 10-12 2009 at Raleigh Studios Hollywood!!

In 2009 over $60,000.00 in prizes will be awarded…
Filmmaking Software, Screenwriting Software, Yearly Membership to Baseline Studio Systems, Festival Passes, Festival T-shirt, Movies Unlimited Gift Certificates, Magazine Subscriptions, Filmmaking and Final Cut Pro Seminars, DVD Mastering and Authoring Services, Online and Retail Distribution, Pitch sessions, Writer’s Boot Camp courses, discounted services. Entry Fee:
$25.00 USD - $75.00 USD. All formats acceptable. All entries must be submitted on NTSC DVD.
