The Filmmaker Incentive Program

In an effort to assist Official Selections of the FirstGlance Film Festivals to better market and promote their projects FirstGlance started the Filmmaker Incentive Program. Allowing independent filmmakers, who normally might not have the budget to advertise their project the opportunity to take advantage of the advertising power of the festival and lots of FREE ways of promoting your screening.

TRAILER PROMOTION

All Official Selections can take part, FREE of charge in our trailer network which has been viewed over 3 million times on several streaming partners including Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, Openfilm, Metacafe and Break, just to name a few.

SOCIAL NETWORKING

Link your Facebook and Twitter page to ours and get tons of free promotions with our weekly emails and bulletins.

Advertising and Promoting your Official Selection

We offer a limited number of homepage slides to promote your project. Only 8 slides are available per festival.

With over 1.5 million visitors last year and a large concentration of visitors during the festival cycle, your project will get great exposure on our home page, by linking to your website, Facebook group, or Twitter account.

Slides will go live one month prior to the event.

$150.00 - Slide on our homepage with link to your website, trailer or schedule page.

2 All Access Passes

ENHANCED PACKAGE

$250.00- Slide on our homepage and one week of facebook, google and/or youtube promotions of your trailer or film, we will also periodically during the cycle promote your trailer, website etc on Twitter and Facebook groups- 2 All Access Passes, Festival Gear.

Profit Share 

Another great perk of FirstGlance is profit-sharing. You can receive a dollar back on every online ticket sale after you sell 50 tickets. Our ticketing service, takes a survey of buyers to determine what film the buyer is coming to see, if you sell over 50 tickets online, we give you back a dollar a ticket after that. If you sellout a screening you can make back over $100.00 in cash. If you can sellout a screening and we have the ability to add a screening, you can make even more, as we'd share the entire encore screening with you.


ONLINE AND THEATRICAL DISTRIBUTION

We look forward to helping you promote your film at the FirstGlance Film Fest…and don’t forget we offer all short subject films the opportunity to get in on our revenue share digital distribution platform and offering our feature films the opportunity for a RED CARPET PREMIERE and theatrical run in Las Vegas. These are both non-exclusive revenue sharing contracts, and you keep all rights to your film.

Launching Summer 2011, FirstGlance Film Fests can now offer all short content a no-cost, non-exclusive opportunity to be carried on what's been called the, "Netflix for Indies". Featuring the best in true indie films.

 


 

POSTCARDS, POSTERS, TEES and MORE

We have a deal with a great printer in Van Nuys California area that prints posters, postcards and any other promotional item you may need at wholesale prices. They are reliable with a quick turnaround, whether you need 1 or 1000 units. Press Releases

Send out press releases at the 4 week and 2 week marks before the event. Use whatever information we provide you on our website to help promote both your film and the event. In Hollywood you should target the trades (The Hollywood Reporter and Variety) as well as LA Times, LA Weekly and any other local weeklies you may know in the Hollywood area. If you are from Los Angeles and you have access to local city papers, it's always good to get in touch with them for some local editorial.


AWARD PLAQUES

Each Official Selection screened at the festival is awarded a uniquely created plaque presented at the end of each screening program. If you would like to order additional plaques, please let us know after the event. Each plaque costs $75.00 plus shipping and handling.

We will announce the awards after each screening.
