Become a FirstGlance™ Student Coordinator
Here's your chance to make some money, have some fun, and represent the fasting growing film and video festival on both coasts!!

FirstGlance is looking for currently enrolled students at colleges and universities around the country to become representatives for the FirstGlance: College Tour. The two-night festival will be a compilation of the Best of the Fest, and pre-selected student projects to be exhibited at your school.

The process is simple:

The FirstGlance Student Coordinator will be responsible for booking an on campus video screening room and coordinating between FirstGlance and his/her university.
If your school has the facilities, then your job is halfway done!

If you are interested contact us with the seating capabilities of your screening room or rooms, and your personal information and availability of the facility.

FirstGlance needs approximately twelve weeks for the set-up process, so don`t book the room until we agree on a mutual timeframe for the festival.

Your job includes:
Booking the facility.
Distribution of flyers and posters we supply.
Ticket Sales.
Familiarity with the A/V equipment at your facility.
Getting the information to all school media (Newspaper, TV station, radio)
Responsible for the safe return of all videotapes.

Coordinator Benefits:
Free FirstGlance T-shirt or Hat.
Stipend (dependent on ticket sales)
Each year one coordinator will receive a round-trip ticket and free admission to either FirstGlance: Los Angeles or FirstGlance: Philadelphia.

Each college or university that takes part in the College Tour receives an entry to one of our festivals, to compete in the Student Projects category for Prize money. This project should be a senior student film/video project which is sent to represent your school in the festival, and should be accompanied with the approval of the dean or supervising professor who grades the final thesis projects.

If your university has a film and video program and is not listed above and you`d like to represent them please contact us.
